This is an easy way to make the Sri Lankan Fish Curry.
I always use Tuna for the curry as I prefer fish without bones.
Ingredients
Fish 400g
1 Large Onion chopped
2 Spoons of Ginger Garlic Paste (I always use fresh chopped ginger and garlic)
2 or 3 Curry Leaves
2 or 3 Goraka Pieces or tamarind or 2 chopped Tomatoes
2 Tablespoons of Chilli powder
2 Tablespoons of Powdered Pepper
1 Tablespoon of Turmeric
1 Tablespoon of Curry Powder
2 Tablespoons of Coconut oil
Method
Fry curry leaves and onions until onions are golden in colour.
Add ginger garlic paste, add the spices, and fry for a minute or two.
Add the fish, stir well, and add water.
Add goraka or tamarind or tomatoes and salt and simmer for around 20 minutes or until fish cooked. The gravy should be thick.
